INGREDIENTS

1cup-240ml; 1tablespoon – 15ml ; 1teaspoon – 5ml;

Ingredients for biscuits batter/dough

Yield: 12-15 biscuits

– 1/3 cup ghee

– 4 tbsp jaggery (gur)

– 1/2 cup whole wheat flour (atta)

– 1/4 tsp cardamom powder

– 1/4 tsp baking soda

– 2 tsp milk powder

– 1 tbsp gram flour (besan)

How to make atta jaggery biscuits

1. Start by preparing the biscuit batter. Take a mixing bowl.

2. Add ghee and jaggery to the bowl. Mix them together until they become fluffy and lighter in color.

3. Now, add whole wheat flour, baking soda, cardamom powder, milk powder, and gram flour to the bowl. Combine all the ingredients to form a smooth paste-like batter.

4. If you plan to use a nozzle and piping bag to shape the biscuits, make the dough slightly more paste-like in consistency.

5. If you prefer using a piping bag, pipe the biscuits onto a baking tray.

6. Otherwise, if you are shaping the biscuits by hand, make the dough a little firmer by adding more atta if necessary. Take small portions of the dough, roll them into rounds using your palms, and gently flatten them. Place the shaped biscuits on a baking tray.

7. Bake each batch of biscuits for 15 minutes at 180°C (356°F). Once baked, allow them to cool for another 15 minutes.

8. Your atta jaggery biscuits are now ready. Store them in a glass jar to enjoy them for an extended period.
