INGREDIENTS
1cup-240ml; 1tablespoon – 15ml ; 1teaspoon – 5ml;
Ingredients for 6 pieces of cupcake
To make the cupcake batter
Roasted walnuts – ¼ cup
Overripe banana – 1 piece (medium size)
Powdered sugar – ½ cup
Refined oil – ¼ cup
Milk – 2/3 cup
Baking powder – 1 tsp
Baking soda – ¼ tsp
All-purpose flour (Maida) – 1 cup
To decorate the cupcakes
Banana slices – 3-4 piece
Walnuts – 3-4 piece
Brown sugar – 2-3 tbsp
How to make banana walnut cupcake
1. Firstly we need to roast the walnuts. So, take ¼ cup of walnuts and add them in a preheated pan. Roast them for 5-6 minutes on low heat.
2. Now take them out in a bowl and cool them properly. After that roughly crush them. Walnuts are ready.
3. It is time to make the cupcake batter. Take an overripe banana, cut it into small pieces & smash it.
4. After that add powdered sugar & refined oil, milk and mix them well.
5. It’s time add dry ingredients. Add maida, baking powder, baking soda and crushed walnuts. Make the batter semi-tight.
6. Now put the cupcake moulds in a baking tray. Add the batter up to top of each mould. Add some banana slices and walnuts on top of the cupcakes. Sprinkle some brown sugar on top of them.
7. Put the tray, inside a preheated oven and bake for 25 minutes.
8. Your eggless banana walnut cupcakes are ready. They are so spongy and tasty that you have to try it once at home. Enjoy.
