INGREDIENTS

1cup-240ml; 1tablespoon – 15ml ; 1teaspoon – 5ml;

Ingredients for 2 serving

For the masala paste

Khus khus (Poppy seed) – 1 tbsp

Black mustard seed – 1 tsp

White mustard seed – 1 tsp

Green chilli – 2 piece

Salt to taste

Turmeric powder – ½ tsp

Water – 2 tbsp

For steam the prawns

Prawns (peeled) – 150gm

Mustard oil – 1 tbsp

Green chilli – 2 pieces

How to make bhapa chingri

1. To begin, let’s prepare the masala paste. Place all the mentioned ingredients in a mixer container and blend until a smooth paste is formed.

2. Opt for medium-sized prawns, ensuring they are thoroughly peeled and washed.

3. Next, combine the masala paste with the prawns, adding 1 tablespoon of mustard oil and green chillies. Mix all the ingredients well.

4. Once combined, cover the bowl with aluminum foil and steam for approximately 10 minutes.
