How to make chhena poda
1. Firstly we need to make the chhena, for that take 1 litre of milk and let it boil. Now add 2 tbsp of fresh lemon juice into the boiling milk & stir for a minute. Switch off the gas.
2. Now drain the excess water from it. But don’t squeeze the chhena to make it dry. Let it stay moist & wet.
3. Transfer the chhena in a bowl, add gur powder & suji into it. Mix them all together and cover it for 15 minutes.
4. After that add dry fruits, cardamom powder, ghee and milk powder into the chhena and mix. This time you can add 2-3 tbsp of chhena water to make the chhena dough perfectly.
5. Now Take a baking tin or mould, grease it with ghee and transfer the chhena mixture into it.
6. To bake the chhena, preheat the oven @180°C in convection mode and then bake it for 25 minutes.
7. Your chhena poda is ready now. Cool it for 30 minutes and add some more dry fruits on top to decorate it. Enjoy this Bengali sweets.
