Dual Flavour Kulfi

Dual flavour kulfi is a delightful frozen dessert that combines two distinct flavors into one delectable treat. Originating from the Indian subcontinent, kulfi is a popular traditional dessert known for its rich, creamy texture and intense flavors. INGREDIENTS

1cup-240ml; 1tablespoon – 15ml ; 1teaspoon – 5ml;

Ingredients for 2 pieces of kulfi

For the Malai Milk:

• 500 ml full-fat milk

• 30 ml condensed milk

For the Rose Malai Milk:

• 3 tbsp rose petals

• ¾ portion of the malai milk

• 1 tbsp rose water

For the Almond Milk:

• 10-12 soaked almond nuts

• ¼ cup malai milk

How to make dual flavour kulfi

1. Start by preparing the malai milk. In a saucepan, heat the full-fat milk and bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer until the milk reduces to half its volume. Add the condensed milk and mix well. Remove from heat. The malai milk is now ready.

2. Transfer ¾ cup of the malai milk to a blender. Add rose petals and rose water to the blender. Blend until well mixed, creating the rose-flavored malai milk.

3. Take 2 kulfi moulds and fill each one up to 2/3 of its capacity with the rose-flavored milk mixture. Insert popsicle sticks into the moulds using plastic wrappers. Place the moulds in the freezer and allow them to freeze overnight.

4. The next day, make a paste by blending soaked almonds with the remaining malai milk. This will create the almond-flavored malai milk.

5. Remove the kulfi moulds from the freezer. Unwrap the moulds and fill them to the top with the almond milk mixture. Return the moulds to the freezer and allow them to freeze completely.

6. Once frozen, the dual flavor kulfi is ready. These delicious treats are irresistible, and you won’t be able to stop at just one. Give this recipe a try during the summer and enjoy! 🙂

Note: You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less condensed milk according to your preference.
