Eggless Brownie

INGREDIENTS

1cup-240ml; 1tablespoon – 15ml ; 1teaspoon – 5ml;

Buttermilk:

  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp vinegar

Brownie Batter:

  • 12 cubes dark chocolate
  • 50g salted butter
  • ½ cup buttermilk
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour (maida)
  • ¼ tsp rock salt
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp roasted walnuts, crushed
  • 8-10 small chocolate cubes
  • 3 tbsp chocolate buttons

Decoration:

  • 3 tbsp roasted walnuts
  • 3-4 small chocolate cubes
  • 2-3 tbsp chocolate buttons

How to make eggless brownie

1. Begin by preparing the buttermilk. Mix ½ cup of milk with 1 tsp of vinegar and let it sit for 10 minutes.

2. While the buttermilk is resting, roast the walnuts. Heat a pan and add ¼ cup of walnuts. Roast them on low heat for about 5-6 minutes. Once done, transfer them to a bowl and let them cool. Roughly crush the walnuts. Set aside.

3. Now, let’s make the brownie batter. In a mixing bowl, combine 12 cubes of dark chocolate and 50g of salted butter. Microwave for 20 seconds or melt using a double boiler.

4. Add brown sugar and buttermilk to the melted chocolate and butter mixture. Mix well.

5. Incorporate the dry ingredients: all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and rock salt. Stir until everything is well combined.

6. Fold in the crushed roasted walnuts, chocolate cubes, and chocolate buttons into the batter for extra nuttiness and deliciousness.

7. Grease a baking tray with butter and pour the brownie batter into it. Top it off with some walnuts, chocolate cubes, and chocolate buttons.

8. Place the tray in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) and bake for 30 minutes.

9. Once baked, your mouth-watering eggless brownies are ready.
