INGREDIENTS
1cup-240ml; 1tablespoon – 15ml ; 1teaspoon – 5ml;
To marinate the chicken
Chicken pieces (boneless) – 300 gm
Salt to taste
Black pepper powder – ½ tsp
Garlic (chopped) – 2 tbsp
Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
To fry the chicken & make the gravy
Refined oil – 1 tbsp
Butter – 1 tbsp
Garlic cloves – 4-5 pieces
Water – ¼ cup
Fresh cream – ¼ cup
Salt to taste
Chilli flakes – ½ tsp
How to make garlic chicken
1. Firstly choose boneless chicken for this recipe & cut it into small pieces. Make sure that the chicken has no water, for that squeeze out all water from the chicken pieces. This process will help the chicken marinate properly.
2. Now add all the ingredients into the chicken, mix them and leave it for 1 hr if you have sufficient time. Otherwise fry them directly.
3. Here we are going to use refined oil and butter both to fry the chicken pieces. It needs around 8-10 minutes to fry. In between use a lid to cover the pan for the batter result.
4. Take the chicken pieces out from the pan and we will make the gravy in the pan.
5. Add 4-5 garlic cloves in the pan and fry for a minute, after that add water, fresh cream, salt and chilli flakes into it and mix.
6. It’s time to add fried chicken pieces and mix them all together. Our garlic chicken is ready.
7. Garlic chicken is a best combo with fried rice, naan, roti. Have this with whatever you like and enjoy with your family.
