How to make instant naan

1. In a bowl, combine ½ cup of yogurt and ¼ + 1/8 tsp of baking soda. Mix well and let it sit for 1 minute to activate the baking soda.

2. Once the baking soda is activated, add strained maida (all-purpose flour), sugar, and salt to the bowl. Mix everything together to form a dough.

3. Add 1 tsp of ghee to the dough and knead it for 2-3 minutes. Allow the dough to rest for 5 minutes.

4. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a ball.

5. Take one dough ball, sprinkle some maida on it, and roll it out into a round roti or an elongated naan shape.

6. Place the rolled naan on a preheated tawa (griddle) and cook it on both sides until done. Brush some butter on top of the cooked naan. Repeat the process for the remaining dough balls.

7. Your hot and fluffy naans are now ready to be enjoyed!

Note: You can serve these naans with your favorite curries or enjoy them on their own.
