Kacche Aam Rasgulla

Rasgulla is a very famous Indian sweet and here we will make kacche Aam Rasgulla or Raw mango Rasgulla.

INGREDIENTS

1cup-240ml; 1tablespoon – 15ml ; 1teaspoon – 5ml;

Ingredients for 6 rasgulla

To make the chhena

Milk – 500ml

Lemon juice – 1 medium size fresh lemon

Water – to wash the chhena

To make the rasgulla

Chhena –

Green food color – a pinch of

To make the sugar syrup (chashni)

Water – 2 bowls (1cup)

Sugar – 1 bowl (1/2 cup)

Raw mango – 2-3 tbsp

How to make kacche aam rasgulla

1. Firstly we need to make the chhena. To make the chhena, take 500ml milk in a pan and boil it. Now switch off the gas and add 1 of fresh lemon juice into it and stir it gently. Chhena is ready.

2. After that strain the chhena using a muslin cloth. Then rinse it again with normal water and drain the water from it to make it dry.

3. Put the chhena on a plate and knead it for 5 minutes using your palm to make it smooth.

4. Here we will add pinch off green food colour, to give it a nice raw mango touch. Divide the chhena dough into small pieces. Then round them using your both palms to make perfect rasgulla.

5. Next, peel the raw mango & cut it into small pieces. Here we will use only 2-3 tbsp of it.

6. It is time to make the sugar syrup. Take a cookware on stove, add 1 cup of water & ½ cup of sugar into it, let them boil to melt the sugar.

7. Now add the mango and rasgulla into the sugar syrup. Cover the cookware and boil for 10 minutes or until it become double in size.

8. Mango Rasgulla is ready. This is so flavourful that you have to try this recipe to more enjoy the summer and mango season.

*Refrigerate for 1 hour to get better flavor.
