How to make masala sweet corn

1. Begin by peeling the sweet corn and cut it into 3-4 equal pieces.

2. Now fill a large pot with enough water to submerge the corn pieces. Add salt to the water and bring it to a boil over high heat.

3. Once the water is boiling, carefully add the corn pieces. Boil the corn for about 15 minutes or until the kernels are tender.

4. Once the corn is boiled and tender, remove the corn pieces from the pot and drain any excess water. Allow the corn pieces to cool slightly before proceeding.

5. Before threading the kernel, use a kitchen towel to remove excess water from it.

6. To thread the corn kernels, take the toothpick and thread it lengthwise through the corn kernel. Each toothpick should hold several kernels, making it easier to handle and eat.

7. Now carefully cut the threaded kernels from its cob using a knife.

8. Season the threaded corn kernels, arrange the corn pieces on a serving platter.

9. Now mix the melted butter, chili flakes, dried oregano, and salt. Carefully roll the threaded corn kernels in the seasoning mix, making sure each kernel is coated evenly.

10. At the end squeeze the juice of a quarter lemon over the corn for a tangy kick.

Note: Optionally, you can sprinkle a bit more chili flakes or oregano on top for added flavor and presentation.
