Notes

1. Always strain the flour before using it for any recipe. This process will help you to get lumps free pure flour for your dish. Even You should also strain baking powder before using it.

2. If you are going to use normal crystal sugar, then you should grind it before. Or mix the sugar with the butter and leave it sometime to melt it properly. Use the same if you are using jaggery.

3. I have used both peanut butter and chopped roasted peanuts for the dish. Because I want to get little coarse peanuts in my mouth when I will chew the cookies.

4. Egg is totally optional for the cookies. If you don’t want egg in your cookie, just made it without it.

5. Always Make soft and loose dough for cookies. Don’t make the dough so tight, otherwise it will break when you try to give it a shape.

6. You can use roasted peanuts for this recipe, or you can make it at your home. To roast them, microwave them for 2 minutes or dry roast in a fry pan for 3-4 minutes on low flame.

7. Don’t decrease the amount of normal butter, else you will get hard and very hard cookies.

8. If you are a soft cookie lover then always bake you cookies for 10-12 minutes. 15 minutes will be great for hard crunchy cookie lover.

9. I have tried to give them a nice and catchy look. So that I used a cookie cutter. If you don’t have this, just give them round shape or any shape you want.
