Pinwheel Toast

Pinwheel toast is a creative and tasty variation of traditional bread toast. It’s a quick and easy snack or appetizer that combines the flavors of pizza with the convenience of toast.

Ingredients

1cup-240ml; 1tablespoon – 15ml; 1teaspoon – 5ml;

Ingredients:

– 3 slices of bread

– 1 tablespoon pizza sauce

– 1 teaspoon chili flakes (adjust to taste)

– 1 teaspoon dried oregano

– 3 triangular pieces of capsicum

– 1 tablespoon sliced capsicum

– 1/3 cup mozzarella cheese


How to make Pinwheel Toast

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a baking tray with butter and keep it aside.

2. To make the pinwheel toast, start by using a slice of bread. Here I am making snacks for 3 persons.

3. Now, spread pizza sauce evenly over each bread slice.

4. Then cut the four sides of the bread slices towards the corners. Lock the bread slice to make the pinwheel properly.

5. Fill the pinwheel pocket with mozzarella cheese as much as you like.

6. Sprinkle a pinch of chili flakes and dried oregano on top. Adjust the amount of chili flakes according to your spice preference.

7. Place a triangular piece of capsicum on center of bread slices.

8. Sprinkle some sliced capsicum over corners to add extra crunch and flavor.

9. Place the bread slices on the baking tray. Then bake for approximately 10 minutes or until the pinwheel toasts are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

10. Once done, remove the pinwheel toasts from the oven and let them cool for a minute or two. They are ready to be enjoyed with tea of coffee.
