1cup-240ml; 1tablespoon – 15ml ; 1teaspoon – 5ml;
Ingredients for 6 pieces of kulfi
To make the malai milk
Milk (full fat milk) – 1 litre
Condensed milk – 50ml
To make the pista malai milk
Pistachios nuts (soaked) – ½ cup
Malai milk – ½ portion
Chopped pista nuts – 1-2 tbsp
How to make pista malai kulfi
1 Firstly we need to make the malai. Here I am using 1 litre of milk to make the malai.
2. In between soak ½ cup of pistachios nuts / pista nuts for 1 hour.
3. Now boil the milk until it become ¼ of its volume. Here we will add condensed milk to make the malai sweet. Mix them well and switch off the gas. Malai milk is ready.
4. Here we will make a paste from soaked & peeled pista nuts. Don’t make the fine paste.
5. Now add ½ of malai milk into the pista paste and mix them very well. Add some more chopped pista to make it more cruncher & tastier.
6. Use 6 kulfi mould and fill each of them up to 2/3 part with pista & malai mixer. Use wrapper plastic to insert the popsicle sticks in middle. After that freeze them for overnight.
7. Next day take them out from the refrigerator. Unwrap the moulds and fill them with rest of malai milk up to top of the mould. Freeze them again.
8. Our pista malai kulfi is ready. They are so delicious that you can’t stop yourself after having one. Must try this recipe in this summer and enjoy.
