Protein ladoo is a nutritious and energy-packed snack that combines the benefits of protein-rich ingredients with the deliciousness of traditional Indian ladoos (sweet treats).

Ingredients
1cup-240ml; 1tablespoon – 15ml; 1teaspoon – 5ml;
For the Protein Ladoo:
– Cashew nuts (chopped) – ¼ cup
– Almond nuts (chopped) – ¼ cup
– Pista nuts (chopped) – ¼ cup
– Desiccated coconut – ½ cup
– Watermelon seeds – 2 tbsp
– Flax seeds – 3 tbsp
– Pumpkin seeds – 2 tbsp
– Raisins (chopped) – 2 tbsp
– Dates paste (small and seedless) – 25 pieces
– Ghee – 3 tbsp
– Cardamoms – 3 pods
How to make Healthy Protein Ladoo
1. In a fry pan, melt 1 tbsp of ghee and roast the chopped cashew nuts, almond nuts, and pista nuts until they turn golden brown. Transfer it to a large mixing bowl to cool.
2. In that same pan, take 1 tbsp of ghee and roast watermelon seeds, flax seeds, pumpkin seeds and chopped raisins until they are lightly toasted. Transfer to same mixing bowl.
3. Now roast the desiccated coconut in ghee in that same fry pan. Roast it until they turn golden brown.
4. Lastly add crushed cardamoms in the roasted desiccated coconut and mix well. Sift it to the same bowl.
5. Roast the dates paste for 2-3 minutes with ghee in the same pan. Make sure before pasting the dates, they are seedless. Transfer it to same mixing bowl.
6. Mix everything thoroughly. The mixture should be slightly warm so that it’s easy to shape into ladoos.
7. Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into round ladoos. If the mixture is too dry, you can add a little more ghee.
8. Your protein ladoos are ready to be served. Enjoy them as a healthy snack or a delicious dessert.
9. Store the ladoos in an airtight container at room temperature. They can be kept for several days.
